Studying and working better (not harder): Understanding cognitive fatigue for a healthier work and study culture

Many people equate productivity with long working hours and constant availability. However, sustained mental effort without adequate recovery leads to cognitive fatigue and impairs concentration, creativity and wellbeing. Vicent Botella-Soler shares practical, evidence-based strategies for managing mental load and supporting sustainable productivity.

Under pressure – standing strong in challenging times

Are compassion, leniency and plenty of time really the best ways to become or remain mentally healthy? Drawing on many years of experience, Esther Pauchard explains why the comfort zone is not a good place to stay, why stress has an image problem and why self-efficacy offers more reliable support than avoidance. She also highlights common thinking errors and shows how we can strengthen our resilience in a targeted way.
