Remaining places
The remaining places for both the Autumn Semester and the Spring Semester are published on Mobility-Online. There you can see if there are still available spots at partner universities in your study program. As a general rule, the places are allocated by the exchange coordinators of the department on a first come, first served basis.

- Deadline for exchange in the Autumn Semester: 1 March
- Deadline for exchange in the Spring Semester: 1 September
European partner universities
- Places available: usually at some partner universities
- Deadline for exchange in the Autumn Semester: 1 March
- Deadline for exchange in the Spring Semester: 1 September
Non-European partner universities
- Places available: very few places available
- Deadline for exchange in the Autumn Semester: apply as soon as possible (as from 15 January); only possible for partner universities in India
- Deadline for exchange in the Spring Semester: 1 September
Application process
- You apply for only one partner university.
- Places are allocated by the departmental exchange coordinators. You need to contact the exchange coordinator of your department and discuss your application before applying.
Online application
Decision
- Your application will be reviewed both formally and academically by the Student Exchange Office and the departmental exchange coordinators. This may take a few weeks.
- You will receive the decision via email.
- If your application is approved, you will be informed about the next steps.
