Restaurant Guest Survey – Your feedback makes a difference
The 2025 guest survey reveals that almost three-quarters of respondents visit ETH Zurich’s catering outlets at least once a week. The food and sustainability initiatives are well received, but there is still untapped potential. The feedback is being directly incorporated into specific improvements, which will be evident in all outlets from April onwards.
Turning feedback into action
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in the 2025 guest survey. Your feedback is invaluable – and it makes a difference: based on the survey results, individual measures are being taken at each establishment. These are tailored to the specific feedback provided by guests and will be communicated and implemented on site from April onwards.
Taste and quality at a high standard
Encouraging news: the taste of the food is a hit – 73 per cent of respondents are satisfied with it, which is an improvement on 2022. The quality and freshness of the dishes are also rated as being at a similarly high standard. This shows that the establishments are on the right track in these key areas.
Sustainability: a strong foundation, great potential
There is widespread recognition in the area of sustainability: 85 per cent of respondents expressly praise the waste prevention measures. At the same time, many guests would like to see even more climate-friendly options on their plates – 47 per cent say they would choose vegetarian options more often if the quality were better. This potential is to be exploited even more effectively in future.
In addition to the topics mentioned, the teams on site will take note of further findings from the survey and implement the necessary improvements. Do pop into your branch from April onwards to see exactly what has changed. We look forward to seeing you.
