Telephone service interruption for Optipoint devices at ETH H?nggerberg from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

 
The OpenStage/OpenScape telephones (VoIP) at workstations, laboratories and workshops are not affected by this interruption.

Dear telephone users,
On Wednesday, 11 February 2026, maintenance work on the telephone system at H?nggerberg will result in an interruption to telephone services for Optipoint devices between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Affected models: https://unlimited.ethz.ch/en/help/communication/hardphones/older-hardphones-tdm
During the specified time window, no voice connections to or from the lift telephones will be possible in the buildings.
The reception of alarms (fire alarms, medical alarms, technical alarms) will be guaranteed throughout this period (alarm network).
OpenStage/OpenScape telephones (VoIP) are not affected by the interruption.

The OpenStage/OpenScape telephones (VoIP) at workstations, laboratories and workshops are not affected by this interruption.

 On Monday, 9 February 2026, maintenance work on the telephone system at the centre will result in an interruption to telephone services for Optipoint devices between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Affected models: https://unlimited.ethz.ch/en/help/communication/hardphones/older-hardphones-tdm
During the specified time window, no voice connections to or from the lift telephones will be possible in the buildings. In HG and MM, this also affects corridor telephones and some personal connections belonging to ETH employees.
The PSA (paging system) will also be unavailable.
The reception of alarms (fire alarms, medical alarms, technical alarms) will be guaranteed throughout this period (alarm network).
OpenStage/OpenScape telephones (VoIP) are not affected by the interruption.

ANNOUNCEMENT: NAS12 backend storage update at Zentrum location 09.02.2026 from 7.00 pm until 12.02.2026 11 pm

On the Spectrum Scale system (NAS12) at the Zentrum location, a software update of the backend storage systems is planed from 09.02.2026 at 7:00 pm to 12.02.2026 11 pm.

This action is part of a regular update. In principle, this update should be without interruptions for the NAS-service. All actions that could be critical for the availability of the NAS-service will only be carried out after 7 pm.

We will inform you as soon as the updates are installed.

Maintenance VoIP Telefonie

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

Saturday 7th february 2026 between 7am and 6pm will be maintenance work on the telephone server. Affected will be all ETH VoIP phones (including SoftPhone). The VoIP phone service might be interrupted a few minutes during the maintenance.

Network outage Monday, February 2, 2026 from approximately 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM in building ETF/C/101

On Monday, February 2, 2026, there will be a network outage between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in ETF/C/101 due to fiber optic cable relocation work.
This interruption will affect the floor switch swi-etf-c101-a, including telephony and Wi-Fi.
